RyLee got the opportunity to play Jr Jazz Basketball this year. She was very excited when the season started. Her team didn't have any practices before their first game and it wasn't until then that we realized that she's never seen basketball played therefore had no clue as to what was going on out on the court. So her first game she was a bit lost. It was so amazing though to watch her progress with each game. I tell you what, she may have not made a basket in a game but she's got some mad defense skills. She was the only girl on her team and there were times when the boys wouldn't pass it to her even if she was wide open but she got her fair share of shots during the games. Then she got some one-on-one time with her coach before about the 6th game and she made 3 shots before the game started.
It was great watching her compete and she was so proud to get a metal at the end of her last game. Great job Rys!!
